Hanoi North Loop to Da Nang

Our longest route, ridden southbound. You start in Hanoi and go straight for the frontier — Cao Bang, Meo Vac, and Hoang Su Phi in the first three days — then work west and south through Sapa, Ta Xua, and Pu Luong. The mountains give way to Thanh Hoa and Phong Nha, where an exploration day sits at the halfway mark of the second week. The last stages run the Ho Chi Minh Road down through Khe Sanh and Hue before finishing at the coast in Da Nang. Twelve days of major elevation changes, technical mountain roads, and sustained mileage, front-loaded with the hardest riding.
